Content Tiers & PPV Pricing
Control who sees your content and set pay-per-view prices
How Content Tiers Work
Every piece of content you upload can be assigned a minimum subscription tier. Fans on that tier or higher can see the content. Fans on a lower tier see a locked preview and can choose to unlock it via PPV if you've set a price.
Tier Levels
- Access (lowest tier) - Content marked as Access is visible to all subscribers
- Priority - Visible to Priority and Inner Circle subscribers. Access subscribers see it as locked.
- Inner Circle - Exclusive to Inner Circle subscribers only. Lower-tier fans see it as locked.
Inner Circle subscribers never see locked content - everything is automatically available to them regardless of the tier you assign. This is the key selling point of the Inner Circle tier.
Pay-Per-View (PPV) Pricing
For content locked behind a higher tier, you can set a one-time PPV price. This lets fans on lower tiers unlock individual pieces of content without upgrading their subscription. If you don't set a PPV price, the content simply remains locked for lower-tier fans.
How Fans See Locked Content
When a fan encounters content above their tier, they see a locked preview with a blurred thumbnail. If a PPV price is set, they see an unlock button with the price. After unlocking, the content is permanently available to them.
A good strategy is to post most content at the Access tier to keep all subscribers engaged, while saving your most exclusive content for Priority or Inner Circle. Use PPV sparingly for high-value content.
